Stretch Your Mind is an idiosyncratic monograph whose diversity invites intellectual elasticity. The visual material, consisting of video works, performances, sculptures, objects and installations, conveys the multimedia nature of the work of artist Andrea Vogel.
The first and third section of the publication provide a lavish and freely associative guide to the artist's entire oeuvre. A game from childhood is followed by works from her position as a textile designer and her works as an artist from 1999–2024.
The index section in the middle of the book contains chronologically arranged picture series and information about the works. It is complemented by texts from different authors and the artist herself dealing with the works presented in the book in both German and English.
