Sandra Capaul. NOW – A Universe in Chapters

The publication Sandra Capaul. NOW – A Universe in Chapters provides, for the very first time, an overview of the works produced by artist Sandra Capaul over the past 15 years (b. 1965, Chur).
The works she has developed across a period of two decades, in which she continuously experiments with very different materials and situations, include photographs, drawings, videos and installations. In these, the artist, who works in Zürich, defines experimental arrangements that often give her specific research projects an installative framework and provide the starting point for serial groups of works. The changeability of forms from different perspectives and, in particular, the rotation frequently play a decisive role in this.


This publication is being released in connection with the artist’s solo exhibition at Vebikus Kunsthalle in Schaffhausen opening in May 2025.
