Music-image relationships are explored through sound, photography, drawing and text, with a focus on the transformation of sound into visual space. Sound becomes a visual experience in the works. Fields are defined by the perceptions made by hearing and seeing the immediate, daily environment. The field is interpreted visually and acoustically as a field of vision, sound and resonance. Sound is associated with touch, notation or gesture. The meadow serves as the inspiration for electronic sounds. Psychedelic music, noise and new wave inspire visualisations of different aspects of sound, such as noise, distortion and delay. The works pursue the idea of the malleability and materiality of sound. The sound visualisations are manipulated via the various media.
