This newspaper has already been read. Eye movements were recorded during this process, which were then digitised and printed out. This process makes something of the otherwise invisible process of reading visible and leaves behind a trace of the absorption of information. The result is a read newspaper, a ‘completed’ paper, a whole ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine’. The newspaper was printed together with the usual daily print run of the FAZ, in an identical printing process on rotary presses.
