The artist Lika Nüssli's mother has been living in a home for people suffering from dementia for several years. As the visits to her mother become more and more silent, Lika Nüssli began to draw the people around her. The artist found the bodies drawn from life fascinating, and the conversations, sentences, and empty phrases delightfully absurd.
The result is a drawn narrative about remembering, forgetting and the cosmos of migration in old people's homes. It is not reportage in the classic form, but rather a poetic transposition of states of being and a search for new visual languages.
