This publication is a documentation of the woodcut series Kathedrale des Leibes (The Cathedral of the Body), which Josef Felix Müller cut directly into his studio floor with a power saw between 1985 and 1986. The illustrated book was published in 1987 to coincide with the exhibition Groping through the fine Mist of Sensuousness curated by Peter Blum at the Lang & O'Hara Gallery in New York.
