This book brings together letters, poems and text fragments, drawings and collages by Andy Alanis. He projects his desire for visibility and recognition, his sexual needs onto the addressee; they becomes a projection surface and a possible outside. Andy Alanis was born Andreas Michael Etzold in 1957 and passed away in 2001. In reference to the singer Alanis Morissette, he gave himself the stage name Andy Alanis. As editor of the book, the artist Jana Schulz (Berlin) processed the collected text and image material into a sensitive and intimate experience.
