“In art history, paintings that depict an ocean or another body of water are collectively referred to as seascape art. The exploration of this term took place in three phases, the first being an eight-day canoe trip around Lake Constance. It continued in the medium of sculpture, with an exhibition at the Kunsthalle Arbon reflecting its lakeside location, and its architecture as a former production site for wheelbarrows. The final part of this journey is this publication, which showcases the landscape, space, sculpture and visual image in a new way.”
