This artist's book celebrates the themes of colour and the flow of paint. Artist Lisa Hoever is known for her large-scale paintings. In this book, she presents a series of new watercolours in handy formats, which were mainly created in Greece. She developed her own technique by letting paint flow freely by turning the sheet of paper. This causes colours to run into one another and creates trails, structures and constantly surprising pictorial inventions. The Swiss dramaturge, musician and writer Michel Mettler responds to the intense watercolours with condensed, pictorial poems on the themes of colour, colour pigments and their historical placing.
