The artist Otto Heigold is a proven specialist in art printing. From 1970 to 2008, he taught at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Lucerne. One of his passions is creating as large a pictorial cosmos as possible with a small and modest infrastructure. Over the past twenty years, Heigold has cut hundreds of rubber stamps. The result is an extensive vocabulary of forms that can be combined and arranged in endless new ways. Printed on Bible paper, which allows the shapes to show through, suggests transitions and create overlays, the vocabulary is summarised for the first time in this book.
