The publication of Diese Bilder sind begehbar (These pictures can be walked through) is a collaboration between the visual artist Natalia Stachon and the authors Zszuszanna Gahse and Thekla Harlé, the designer Harri Kuhn and the Galerie Parterre in Berlin.
Its focus is objects, installations and drawings by Natalia Stachon from the years 2013 to 2025. In her art, Stachon seeks, among other things, the fleeting moment that occurs between two acts. A last pause for breath or an interruption in which history appears to stand still for a moment. The everyday, pragmatic, loud and bright elements of the human infrastructure appear to have been turned into their opposite, as if shock frozen in time.
This publication is being released in connection with Stachon’s solo exhibition Between the acts, an interval, which is being shown at the Galerie Parterre in Berlin.
