The series Kunst und Bau (Art and Building) began in 2014. It gives a platform to selected artistic projects that were realised in connection with architecture or in public space. Although the contexts change, the format always remains the same and consists of a folding booklet and a poster.
Number 5 was published by the Association Basis Kunst und Bau (BAKUB), which designs, presents, discusses and publishes art and construction. In addition to texts providing context, it contains a map of the city of Bern in which art-and-building projects from 2004 to 2017 are marked. The illustrated book was published to accompany the exhibition of the same name at the Stadtgalerie Bern 2017.
