Listening is a central motif in Zietlow’s works – as a radical gesture, as method, and as a connecting element between the individual and the social fabric. The title already gives us a hint: encounter is not something to be taken for granted, but it is instead a deliberate movement towards one another, borne by attention, time and the willingness to communicate with others.
